You will see a succession of highlights of Denpasar (Museum, Market, etc.) and the breathtaking Balinese countryside such as the green tiered ricefields, the villages and daily live of the people. Turning to the right off the highway, you will arrive in front of the former Royal Temple of Taman Ayun, most impressive because of the its grassed verdant area and lakeside setting, the attractive building and gates and an exquisite series of merus. Next you will visit the sacred monkey forest and temple at Sangeh, where hundreds of friendly monkeys welcome to you. To walk in this cool and tranquil forest of pala tress, some 150 feet high, accompanied by funny monkeys is a wonderful moment. |
